Discussion on Union Budget 2019-2020

The Department organised a discussion on Union Budget 2019-20 on July 11,2019. The key speaker was Dr.Surajit Das, Assistant Professor, Centre foe Economic Studies and Planning, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

In a critical take on the Union Budget, the speaker elucidated how the budget provisions fell very much short of addressing the grave concerns grappling Indian economy currently.
