Dr M V Kurien Commemmorative Lecture 2021

The Department of Economics, conducted its 16th Dr M V Kurien Commemmorative Lecture on 26th October 2021, through online mode. The keynote speaker of the programme was Dr. Sonia George, General Secretary of SEWA union of Kerala. She talked on the topic , ‘Gender and Informal Economy in India’. Gender has always been a very sensitive issue in India in the wake of gender inequalities in the work space, households etc.
